9:45 am Sunday

Kidstuf is a new way to do "children's church."  We kept the best of traditional children's church -- the Bible stories, music, and scripture verse -- and mixed it with our own new twist -- choreography, comedy, games, candy, and prizes.  Be prepared to sweat, be entertained, and learn about Jesus in ways you would never expect.

Kidstuf starts at 9:45 in the fellowship hall.  There are activity stations for the first 20 minutes.  These stations include a game cube played on the big screen, a beading station for making necklaces and bracelets, a play dough and block station, and a design your own sticker station.  At 10:00,  Kidstuf starts on the stage with singing and choreography.  After that, get ready to learn in the most fun way possible but don't forget what you learned!!! If you get the answers right, you may not leave church empty handed.  Prizes are awarded every week, and next time, it may just be you!!!

Be sure and join us on Sunday mornings.  We look forward to seeing you.

Children’s Ministry Vision

To teach kids a Biblically based, spiritual knowledge that is firmly rooted in scripture and faith in Jesus.  We strive to give kids an understanding that salvation is by faith and through Jesus’ grace, not works.  Our teaching strategy involves hands-on learning as we believe knowledge is easily acquired through interactive activities. The curriculum involves Old Testament stories for examples of faith and stories of Christ as examples of who God really is.  We desire to provide kids with spiritual knowledge so they are able to discern wisely as they move into the teenage years.  We also want to provide the kids with a giving mentality toward the body and to equip them in serving so it is a mentality as they grow older.  The three things we would like our children to leave the program with is:

1). How to make wise choices based on Biblical knowledge they have acquired.
2). Instilling the need to trust God no matter what.
3). Treating others the way they want to be treated.

We believe parents are crucial to making this happen and strongly encourage them to be a part of the child’s life and to know where their children are spiritually; therefore, we rely heavily on parental involvement in all our programs and encourage them to join us once a month in family worship.

We believe the children are the next generation of the church; and therefore, a vital part of the body.  If the present church, alongside parents, does not equip the children spiritually, the future of the Church as a whole is in jeopardy.
