            Below is a list of our small groups we have to offer at Celina First. We encourage you to get yourself plugged into one of these groups!

            Seekers

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When: Begins September 4th 2011   (Sunday mornings) 
            Where: Room 106
            Study the topic of wisdom by looking at the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, and Matthew

            Book of Daniel

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When: Begins September 18th  (Sunday mornings)
            Where: Room 301 and 301
            Study chapter by chapter the Old Testament book of Daniel. Special emphasis will be given tot he prophecy chapters

            Beacon/I Do's

            Level: 101/201 -
            When: Begins September 4th  (Sunday mornings)
            Where: Room 103

            Marriage

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When: Begins February 1st 6:30-7:30 
            Where: Room 103
            "This is an opportunity to learn about your marriage, share with others and at the same time put into practice the principles laid out in the CD by Jimmie Evans
            "Marriage on the Rock".  Anyone single or married will benefit from this class.

            Ladies Faith & Fitness

            Level: 101/201 - Ladies only
            When:  Beginning February 1st 6:30-7:30
            Where: Fellowship Hall
            What you need is more...Physical Fitness or Spiritual Strength? What if you could get BOTH --- at the same time! This program is geared for a beginner's level, but an intermediate level person can still get a beneficial workout. Plan to reach your healthy goals and draw closer to God in the process.

            Various biblical topics are discussed in an informal setting.

            Random Groups

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When:
            2nd and 4th Sunday evenings @ 7
            Where:
            Various Homes
            The groups consist of all ages and tend to emphasize connecting with other about life.

            Ladies Bible Study

            Level: 101/201 Ladies
            When: TUESDAY MORNINGS 9:00 - 10:00 begins September 6th
            Where: Room 106
            A study in Matthew beginning with Chapter 12 entitled: Being Discipled by Jesus.

            Ladies Bible Study

            When: WEDNESDAY MORNINGS
            8:45 - 10:15 Begins September 28th
            Where: Room 106
            You can know the freedom of a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit. In "Living Beyond Yourself", Beth Moore leads an in-depth study of the fruit of the Spirit.

            Experiencing God

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When: Begins February 1st 6:30-7:30

            Where: Room 301-302
            This Bible Study is based on the Experiencing God book.  Through examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God.

            Seeking God in Community

            Level: 101/201 - Everyone
            When: Beginning February 1st 6:30-7:30
            Where: Room 106
            This group will use various materials to learn about the practical realities of growing closer to God within the Christian community and world.  This group is open to all, but designed for those who are seeking a closer relationship with God, fellow Christians and all those in their life.  Learn how to better experience God's uplifting love and Christian fellowship.

            Living Beyond Yourself Part II

            Level: 101/201 Ladies
            When: Beginning February 1st
             6:30-7:30
            Where: Room 105
            You can know the freedom of a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit. In "Living Beyond Yourself", Beth Moore leads an in-depth study of the fruit of the Spirit...Living proof that the Spirit of God dwells in us.

            Men's Auto Maintenance

            Level: 101/201 - Men
            When: Saturday mornings from 8:00-9:15
            Where: Piper Trucking
            After a 15 minutes devotional, men will work in small teams on vehicles doing small maintenance like oil changes, brake installs, fluid fills, etc. for those who cannot afford or are not able to do it themselves.

            Church History

            Level: 101/201 Everyone
            Where: Sanctuary
            This class is an exploration of sixteenth century Reformers and the Bible
            verses that motivated them.  What issues - particularly concerning debates
            about salvation - caused the Western Church to splinter into many different
            denominations?  What caused Luther and Zwingli to branch off from Roman
            Catholicism? What were the ideas of the early Anabaptists, and how were
            they persecuted? How did the followers of calvin clash with rthose of Arminius? 
            What role did Henry's six wives play in the Protestant Reformation in England?
            What does all of this have to do with us and the variety of churches we see
            around us?

            Financial Management

            Level: 101/201 Everyone
            Where: Room 106
            The Bible is, indeed a blueprint for managing your finances.  Not only
            is it practical, but you willlearn the profound impact that managing money
            has on your relationship with God.

            Men's Faith and Fitness

            Level: 101/201 -0 Men limit to 6
            When: Monday evening 6:00-7:15
            Where: Muscle Heads Gym - Celina
            After a short meditation, this group will meet weekly to work on muscle
            toning and cardio balance through weight training and cardiovascular
            exercises.  Special attention will be given to muscle groups. Caution - not for the beginner.
