Dr. Bruce Strine began his ministry at Celina First Church of God in 2002. He has been involved in full-time pastoral ministry for close to 25 years covering four churches.  During those years, he was fortunate to experience healthy church growth at each church.  He recently completed his PhD work in the area of Education with a specialization in Professional Studies.  He is most affirmed for his gift to communicate God’s Word in a relevant and life-related way.  He enjoys all types of sports and coaches the local high school boys’ soccer team for an outlet from the grind of ministry.  He has also had the privilege of interviewing various professional athletes while writing their stories of inspiration and motivation.  His favorite interview was in 2007 with Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns.
