Celina 1st Basketball & Cheer

Celina 1st Basketball and Cheer is a co-ed faith based program offered to any child in the surrounding community. We offer basketball teams for grades K-6th and our Cheer Leading program is open to the same age group. This program offers each participant 7 practices and 6 games. Practice will take place on either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday for basketball players and Cheer practice will take place on Thursdays evenings from 7:30-8:30. Games take place on Saturdays. The League runs from January 7th - February 23rd. See the 2019 dates form at the bottom of this page for more information.

Our league focuses on two “F”s, faith and fundamentals. Each week your child will hear a short devotion, during their practice, that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ. In addition, practices will focus on teaching children the fundamentals of the game.

All of the information on registration, evaluation day, payment, ect. is below. Please take your time and read carefully. If you have any questions not answered below please email Andy Cron, our league manager.

Evaluation Day Information:

Evaluation Day & Uniform Sizing Day is November 17th. If your participant is in the basketball program have them wear clothes they can run drills in. We will be doing some short evaluation drills in order to balance the teams skill levels.

November 17th Registration times are:

4th, 5th, & 6th grade basketball: 9am

2nd & 3rd grade basketball: 10am

K & 1st grade: 11am

Cheer: 9-11am

*If you have multiple participants in the league you may come at one time all together*

Our goal is to put everyone participating in the league through on the 17th eval day. However, if you are absolutely unable to make that date our makeup date is on Monday the 19th from 6:30-7:30. All ages may come during that hour. Your participant must come to one of these to participate in the league.

 

Payment Information:

This year, for the first time and for your convenience, we are offering online payment. Each participant fee is $70 dollars.

You will find that payment option at the bottom of the screen below the registration form. If you are unable to pay online you may mail the Church a payment via check made out to: Celina First Church of God. Please put your participant’s name on the memo line. Remember payment is what holds your participants spot for this first come first serve league.
