Advent 2025: Unexpected People
Good morning Church and welcome to worship. It is the third week of Advent, a season where we prepare our hearts to remember the incredible way God stepped into our world through Jesus.
Today is a special Sunday because our Christmas Choir is leading us in music. They have put in a lot of time preparing and they are excited to help turn our attention toward Christ and the hope he brings. We know the audio may not be perfect, we will do our best to capture their voices.
We are continuing our Advent series called Unexpected Advent, and this morning we are looking at the unexpected people God uses in his story. People just like Mary, the shepherds, and even Peter. What we will see is that God does not look for status or ability. He looks for surrendered hearts. And that truth has real power for your life and mine.
So wherever you are watching from, settle in, prepare your heart, and join us as we worship the God who delights in using ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.
