Reset: Parenting

Good morning and welcome to Celina First.

Today we continue our Reset series, where we’re letting the gospel reshape areas of our lives that are often shaped more by culture than by Christ. And this morning, we’re talking about parenting. Now even if you’re not a parent in this season of life, this is still a conversation that matters because we are a church family with a lot of kids and a deep responsibility to steward them well.

Our culture tends to swing between two extremes when it comes to kids. Ignoring them or idolizing them. But the gospel offers a better road. Today we’ll be talking about what it looks like to raise children as gifts from God, called to be discipled, disciplined, and ultimately deployed for His purposes.
