Advent 2025: Unexpected Cost

Today we’re continuing our Advent series called Unexpected, and this morning we’re looking at a part of the Christmas story that we don’t talk about very often. The cost of obedience.

A lot of people assume that following Jesus always makes life easier, but Scripture is honest. Sometimes obedience comes with a real cost. Today we’re going to look at the life of Joseph and see how his faithfulness to God actually complicated his life, even as God was doing something incredible through it.
